Birth data is sensitive. Here is exactly what happens to it.
What we store
Free chart calculations are not intentionally tied to your identity. When you prepare or purchase a report, we process the email address, birth details, time zone and location choices, report preferences, decision context, order state, generated report, and delivery status needed to provide the service. Feedback, revision, Human Review, and support requests are stored when you use those features.
Payments
Payment is completed through a hosted payment provider or merchant-of-record partner. The provider processes payment and billing information under its own privacy notice. Pillarwise receives transaction references, payment state, product and amount details, and the buyer information needed to match and support the order. We do not receive or store your full card number.
Private reports and links
Paid reports use signed or unguessable private access links. Keep a report link confidential because anyone who obtains it may be able to view the report until the link expires or is replaced. Private report URLs are excluded from public sitemap pages. Analytics record only a coarse private-route category such as private_report or monthly_dashboard, never the report URL or identifier.
Analytics and cookies
Pillarwise keeps a first-party event log to understand product operation and reconcile checkout, purchase, refund, and delivery states. Client-side events never establish payment or revenue truth.
On public, indexable pages we also load Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity in consent mode. Before you make a choice, analytics storage is denied and both services are limited to cookieless measurement. If you allow optional analytics, Google Analytics can connect public-page visits for source, engagement, and return-visit reporting, while Clarity can connect masked public-page interactions into sessions for click maps, scroll maps, and replay. Advertising storage, advertising user data, and ad personalization remain disabled.
These vendor tools do not load on account, checkout, intake, login, admin, or private report pages. Public calculator controls and calculated receipts are explicitly masked from Clarity. URLs sent to Google Analytics are reduced to the public path and registered UTM campaign fields; Clarity is skipped when an unknown query parameter is present. We do not intentionally send either vendor birth details, email addresses, report text, support text, order identifiers, private links, or arbitrary query strings.
Your optional-analytics choice is stored in the first-party pw_analytics_consent cookie for up to 180 days. Use Analytics choices in the footer to allow or withdraw optional analytics at any time. Withdrawal sends a denied signal to both services and removes the vendor cookies the site can directly control. Google and Microsoft process the limited analytics data they receive under their own privacy terms.
Use, sharing, and retention
We use personal data to calculate charts, create and deliver reports, verify payment, prevent abuse, answer support requests, process refunds, and maintain service security. We do not sell birth data or use it for targeted advertising. We share only what is needed with service providers that operate payment, hosting, database, and email delivery functions, or when disclosure is legally required.
We retain order and report data while needed to deliver and support the purchase, then remove or minimize it under our retention process. Some payment, refund, fraud-prevention, security, tax, or legal records may need to be retained longer.
Your choices
To request access, export, correction, or deletion, use the deletion-request control on your signed Monthly report or email [email protected] from the account or order email address and include the report or receipt reference if available. Do not send full card details. Initial review normally occurs within 3 business days; after identity verification, support confirms the request scope and expected completion date.
An export can include account identity, saved Profiles and birth records, orders, available report content, subscriptions, delivery state, and support-linked records associated with the account. Deletion removes or anonymizes eligible birth data, Profiles, report content, delivery details, feedback, revisions, and Human Review content. Minimized payment, refund, fraud-prevention, security, tax, or legal records may remain when required, and protected backups expire through their normal restricted rotation.
