The reading
An AI BaZi reading you can interrogate
The AI explanation is present, but it cannot decide what your chart means on its own. Calculation and documented interpretation rules come first.
A Pillarwise AI BaZi reading uses AI to explain conclusions already produced by a deterministic chart calculation and documented rule set; the supporting chart fact, rule and source remain visible.
Deterministic engine, not vibes
The same birth data always produces the same chart and the same conclusions. Interpretations come from a rule table grounded line-by-line in public-domain classics — 三命通會, 淵海子平, 子平真詮 — each rule cross-verified against the original text.
Where AI enters the reading
AI turns the calculated conclusions into a readable explanation. It can connect the pattern to the section you are reading and clarify technical terms, but it cannot add a new star, change a pillar, invent a rule, or replace a missing source. Before the explanation becomes part of the report, it is checked against the calculated facts and supported rules.
The order is deliberate:
- Birth details are resolved to historical timezone and true solar time.
- The engine calculates the Four Pillars and derived chart facts.
- Documented interpretation rules select the supported tendencies and evidence.
- AI explains those bounded findings in plain language.
- A final evidence check blocks unsupported claims before the reading is shown.
Why this interpretation — built in
Expand any paragraph and see the chain: chart fact → rule → classical anchor. The original Chinese is quoted beside the English, and stark classical idiom is framed for what it is: the language of its era, read as tendency, not verdict.
That trace is not a decorative citation block. It lets you identify exactly which part of the chart supports a sentence, read the traditional basis, and decide how much weight the tendency deserves in your own context.
What you can inspect before creating a chart
The complete BaZi report sample shows the actual reading structure, including the calculation receipt, natal sections, AI explanation and expandable evidence. The explainable-reading guide describes the reasoning contract in more detail, while the methodology page documents the calculation and source boundaries.
When you are ready, the free BaZi calculator creates the chart and reading summary first. A paid Full BaZi Reading is a separate, optional expansion and is not currently open for purchase.
What the reading does not claim
It does not predict a guaranteed event, judge another person’s intentions, or turn an old text into a modern verdict. The output is a structured tendency reading for reflection. The evidence is visible; the decision remains yours.
Questions
Frequently asked
No. A deterministic rule engine derives every conclusion from your chart; the AI only phrases what the engine derived. Anything outside the engine's output is blocked by a validator.
Yes — every section carries its reasoning: which star or Ten God pattern fired which rule, with the classical line quoted.
No. Readings are tendencies to reflect on — timing and decision support — never verdicts or promises.
