A Strong Day Master is well supported by season, roots, peers, or Resource. It describes structural capacity, not a physically strong or dominant personality.
A Strong Day Master (身强) is a Day Master with substantial structural support from season, roots, Peer elements, or Resource elements. “Strong” describes the chart’s capacity to express output, manage resources, or carry pressure. It does not mean the person is physically strong, forceful, superior, or guaranteed success.
Definition
Day Master strength is relational. The same heavenly stem can be strong in one chart and weak in another because the month branch, roots, hidden stems, combinations, and surrounding elements are different.
Strength is useful only in context. A supported Day Master may have more capacity to produce Output, manage Wealth, or meet Authority pressure, but too much unchanneled support can also become congestion. The next question is always what the strength can do, not whether the label sounds favorable.
Method, not mystique
The month branch establishes the strongest seasonal context. It is important, but it does not decide the classification by itself.
Check roots in the earthly branches, visible Peer and Resource stems, hidden support, and whether combinations preserve or redirect that support.
Weigh support against Output, Wealth, and Authority. A classification should summarize the balance, not merely count element symbols.
A Wood Day Master born in spring, rooted in a Wood branch, and supported by visible Water Resource may have substantial capacity. If the rest of the chart contains little Output, Wealth, or Authority, that capacity may remain concentrated rather than productive. The practical interpretation therefore asks where the chart can circulate or use the support.
Do not confuse
One element can be seasonally strong without making the Day Master strong if that element drains or controls the Day Master.
Chart support is not a personality score. Temperament requires the full pattern and lived context.
Strength is not automatically favorable. Excess support without a useful outlet can be as imbalanced as insufficient support.
Interpretive boundary
Strong and weak are model classifications on a spectrum. Borderline charts, following structures, and transformation patterns should not be forced into a binary label. Birth-time uncertainty can also change roots and hidden-stem relationships near an hour boundary.
